Join us in this romantic concert for a Summer evening. The talented Amicus Orchestra are joined by conductor Alec Frank Gemmill and soloist Nikita Naumov, Principal Double Bass of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.The programme features Tchaikovsky’s symphonic poem inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet including one the greatest love themes of all time. The wonderful and rare opportunity to hear the double bass as eloquent soloist in Serge Koussevitsky’s concerto and one of Mozart’s final masterpieces for the orchestra.
